1. Who We Are

Frame Recipes is operated by Yang Linhua, an individual based in Jinjiang, Fujian, People's Republic of China. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through framerecipes.com. Contact: support@framerecipes.com.

Our Merchant of Record, Creem, processes payments and is a separate controller for the payment data it collects. See Creem's Privacy Policy for details.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you give us:

• Name and email address (when you purchase, or contact us by email)
• Messages you send us (support emails)

2.2 Information we receive from third parties:

• Order confirmations, purchase status and buyer contact details from Creem (we never see or store your card number)
• Affiliate referral identifiers when you arrive via a partner link

2.3 Information stored on your device only: our web application saves a small flag in your browser's local storage to remember that your unlock code has been entered. This is not personal data and never leaves your device.

2.4 We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics at this time. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy.

3. Why We Process It (Legal Basis — EEA/UK users)

• Performance of a contract: to process your order, deliver your unlock code, and support your use of the Recipes
• Legitimate interests: to improve our products, prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to enquiries
• Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and consumer-law records

4. How We Use Your Information

• Deliver unlock codes and order confirmations
• Respond to support requests and refund requests
• Detect and prevent fraud, chargebacks, and Terms violations
• Comply with tax and accounting obligations

We do not send marketing emails. If that ever changes, we will ask for your opt-in consent first.

5. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Creem (Merchant of Record) — payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing, fraud prevention
• Payment networks and your card issuer, via Creem
• Our hosting provider and email service provider — strictly for operating the site and sending receipts/support replies
• Legal/regulatory authorities when required by law

All processors are bound by contractual data-protection obligations.

6. International Transfers

Data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than yours, including the United States and China. Where transfers are subject to GDPR, we rely on adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other lawful mechanisms.

7. Data Retention

• Order and tax records: retained for the period required by applicable tax law (typically 5–10 years)
• Support correspondence: retained for up to 24 months, then deleted
• The local-storage unlock flag on your device: until you clear your browser data

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Object to or restrict processing, or request portability
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise these rights, email support@framerecipes.com. We respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

9. Children's Privacy

Our products are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS, reputable hosting, and limit access to personal data to what is necessary. Because we have no user accounts and store no card data, the personal data we hold is minimal by design. However, no internet transmission is completely secure; you transmit data at your own risk.

11. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to external sites (e.g., camera manufacturers' pages). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. The updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be notified by email where appropriate.
